SENIOR EXPLORATIONIST with over 40 years of industry experience, including all aspects of geophysical exploration with particular emphasis on seismic interpretation.

British nationality, married with one daughter and three sons; two grandchildren.

 

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

B.Sc. honours degree in Geology with ancillary Physics, King's College, London University, 1965.

M.Sc. and D.I.C. in Geophysics, Imperial College, London University, 1966.

A.K.C. diploma in Comparitive Religion, King's College, London University, 1964.

Member of S.E.G., E.A.G.E. and P.E.S.G.B. Fellow of Geological Society, London.

Chartered Geologist.

 

FOREIGN LANGUAGES:

Basic knowledge of Russian and French. Currently learning Armenian.

 

PUBLICATIONS:

‘Seismic exploration over basalt covered areas in the UK’, read at E.A.E.G. conference in London, 1984, and published in ‘First Break’ magazine, April 1985.

Presented paper on ‘Applications of computer mapping in Egypt’ at Egyptian General Petroleum conference in November 1988, Cairo; also presented a paper at CompuExpo, February 1989, Cairo.

Presented paper called ‘The integration of different field static methods in land seismic exploration’ at SEG/EGS joint conference held in Cairo during March 1994.

Co-authored two part article on ‘Armenia Prospects’ in Oil and Gas Journal, August 12th and 19th 2003.
